Sautéed Mushrooms
A tasty savory side dish
INGREDIENTS
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 (4oz) cans Giorgio®, Pennsylvania Dutchman® or Brandywine® Whole Sliced Canned Mushrooms, drained
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
DIRECTIONS
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the onion, to soften, about 3 minutes
- Add garlic and sauté for 15 seconds
- Add in the mushrooms, and all the dry ingredients. Stir well to combine.
- Cook over medium heat until the mushrooms are golden brown about 5-8 minutes
- Remove from heat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
